Depends on what you're doing with your Suburban. If it's mostly daily driving then the stock springs will be a good choice. If you're frequently loading / hauling / towing then the heavier spring will be a better choice. Keep in mind if you're unloaded a stronger spring will ride firmer but ride fine when loaded.

There's less arch in the 5/1 but the spring is thicker along with more strength. If both springs were brand new you'd gain around an inch of height using the 5/1 instead of the 4/1. Replacing old springs the height gain will be more than that due to sag.
