These are easier than most coil springs. With the solid axle you don't even need to remove the front tires or compress the coils. The shock has to come out as it sits inside the coil spring. There's a tower on top with 3 nuts. You'll remove the main nut off the top of the shock and then the 3 nuts holding the tower down. Remove the lower shock bolt and the shock will come out. Jack up the truck and replace the coil springs. Put the shock back after the coils are installed. You'll do the tower and upper shock nut with the hood open as that's how you'll access it. If I remember right the air filter box is in the way of one of them so you need to move that but it's easy.
