3485 is going to be the stock replacement for the diesel. If you're not adding any extra weight to the front of your truck and want a stock ride this will be the suggest leaf spring. The 4250 is the 3485 with an extra leaf to give it extra strength. This gives it more support to handle extra weight up front but will also ride firmer if that weight isn't on there such as a snow plow. As far as ride height the 4250 sits about an inch taller than the 3485 as the 3485 sits at stock ride height.

You won't need any sort of drop kit for alignment but you will need to get your F-250 aligned after having the leaf springs installed. The bump stop won't contact any sooner due to a pad as the pad is on the bottom of the leaf spring. Here's a breakdown of attaching parts and in the parentheses is suggested quantity:
