The heavy duty leaf springs are going to ride a little firmer than stock leaf springs when you're unloaded. They're designed to haul or tow while reducing squat so will drive normal when loaded but firmer when not. The heavy duty leaf spring will raise the rear about 1-1/2" over stock height as well due to the extra strength.
