The heavy duty leaf spring will raise the rear about 1-1/2" over stock height.
If you're a 4x4 and don't want that height you can remove the factory block between the springs and the axle (depending on the block size) or put a set of lowering shackles on. If you're planning on doing a leveling kit on the front then would suggest leaving the blocks in and using factory shackles. If you're going to be hauling or towing frequently would suggest taking advantage of the slight height increase as this will keep you at good ride height even under load.
