The heavy duty leaf springs are not side specific. As far as directional the shorter side of the leaf spring will point to the front.
Are the 01-04, 4x4, heavy duty leaf springs directional? 2001 - 2004 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 / Prerunner Heavy Duty rear leaf spring, 4(3/1) leaves
Is there a left and right spring or are they both the same spring?
