When putting these on a 93 chevy c1500 2wd, would i need to get longer U bolts since the springs will be thicker?

This heavy duty leaf spring is 1-1/2" thicker than the standard 3/1 leaf spring. You're going to need longer u bolts to accommodate the thicker pack. Measure your current length and then add an inch or two to your current length. If they're 9" now with an inch sticking down order 10". If there's hardly any thread sticking down below the nut then order 11" or whatever length you need.
